Saeid Mirzaei of Reality Martial Arts will Now be fighting Leo Xavier of Universal MMA for the Vacant Battlefield Fight League Welterweight title on Nov 18th on the BFL 12 card.  Mirzaie was originally scheduled to face David Kennedy for the BFL lightweight strap but David Kennedy had to pull out of the fight earlier this week with an undisclosed injury.

Leo Xavier of Universal MMA in Vancouver B.C. will Face the current Epic Fighting Championship Welterweight Champion
Chris Burnett at Battlefield Fight League 12 in Vancouver, B.C. Burnett who Trains out of Legacy MMA in Idaho B.C. holds
a 5-0 Mixed Martial Arts Record. Burnett’s last fight in Canada was at Battlefield 6 when he Beat Ben Cote via unanimous decision.
The winner of the Xavier/Burnett bout will face Stu Deleurme early in 2012 for the BFL Welterweight strap.

West Coast Promotions current welterweight champion Saeid Mirzaei of Reality Martial Arts will be stepping inside the Battlefield Cage in November at Battlefield Fight League 12.

Mirzaei will be moving down from his usual fighting weight of 170 pounds to 155 pounds to face Battlefield Fight League’s #1 ranked amature Lightweight David Kennedy of WCBJJ. This fight will be for Battlefield Fight League’s first ever Lightweight title.

Micah Brakefield will be moving up 2 weight classes to fight Adam Santos for the BFL Heavyweight Title in the Mainevent of Battlefield Fight League 11

on September 17th at the Vogue Theatre.   Brakefield who is the current Battlefield Fight League Middleweight

Champion will still be defending his Middleweight Strap at Battlefield Fight League 12 against Jer ‘The Jerk’ Kornelsen.

This will likely be a title fight.  More details on this bout will be released in early September.

Shawn Albrecht (7-4) against  Baz Cunnigham (6-2)  has also been signed for  BFL 13.

Battlefield Fight League 7 “Invasion’ will air tonight on Tapout Energy Canadian MMA timeslot at 5pm Pacific.  It will Repeat on August 3 at 7am Pacifc and on August 6 at 3am Pacific.

Andy Marinos will make his official return to Battlefield Fight League at BFL 11 on Friday September 16th.  Marinos will face Brandon Takahara of Wachalls MMA in a lightweight bout.   Marinos made his Mixed Martial Arts debut back in Battlefield Fight League 1.

There are reports that Tristan Storrs’s Teammate, American Chris Burnett who scored a decision Victory in Battlefield 6 over Ben Cote  might make his return to Battlefield on September 16th.  Chris Burnett has an amature mma record of 4-0.   He  will likely face Leo Xavier or Bryce Gougeon.

Tristan Storrs suffered an undisclosed injury in his Battlefield 9 title fight against Jeremy Kennedy.  This injury will keep Storrs inactive till Battlefield 11 on September 16th.  He will likely face Kelowna’s Chris Day.

Battlefield Fight League 6 to air again on the Fight Network starting tommorow night.  Watch many of Battlefield top stars in action including Matt Dwyer, Micah Brakefield, Jeremy Kennedy, Chris Day and Ash Mashreghi.

BFL 6 will air on The Fight Network’s dedicated TapOut Energy Tuesdays Canadian MMA timeslot on July 26 @ 5 p.m. Pacific. It repeats on July 27 @ 1 a.m. Pacific and 7 a.m. Pacifc, as well as July 30 @ 1 a.m. Pacific.

Dan MacIver (6-2) from the Fight Pit in Maple Ridge B.C. has Inked a Multi Fight Deal with Battlefield Fight League.  MacIver will make his Battlefield Debut on August 20th, 2011 as the co-mainevent to face Marcus Hicks.   Dan MacIver will be looking to make an immediate impact in Battlefield’s stacked Middleweight Division.
