Battlefield Fight League 6: Over The Edge from downtown Vancouver’s Edgewater Casino was another solid event from a promotion that seems to be hitting a stride in promoting amateur MMA just as they’re poised to begin promoting professional events as well.

Several of the fights had title implications, the ten bouts featured eight finishes, and, while the main events each went into the deep waters, they were also split between the two competing gyms.

Nanaimo gets huge MMA card
One of the B.C.’s biggest main events ever in mixed martial arts will be held in Nanaimo.

Two former UFC fighters, Denis Kang and Jesse “J.T. Money” Taylor will clash March 26 at Frank Crane Arena at Battlefield Fight League: Invasion.

“It’s the biggest fight in B.C. history, besides the UFC,” said Jay Golshani, president of Battlefield.

Battlefield 5 “Duel” Delivers Best Amateur Card in BC History Battlefield Fight League 5 “Duel” went down at the River Rock Casino on Saturday and provided MMA fans with what will be considered the best amateur card in BC history.
